Yes, at long last Wyncolls is now ours. After battling for 18 months with planning permission etc., Matt and Adam are now the proud owners of Wyncolls Farm. Phew!!! It was a long battle, but well worth it. Now the exciting phase begins. Builders are due to start next week on refurbishing the stables; it will be like the Savoy for horses!!! (or Travelodge!). The motto is onwards and upwards for AM Dressage.
Matt and Rachel are in Holland working hard. Matt is riding approximately 14 horses a day in preparation for the auction at the end of October (this will keep Rachel out of mischief!!!). They both miss home, but it is a wonderful opportunity and experience. The yard is quiet without them and we all miss them.
The dates for our three and five day courses 2012 are on AM Services. The courses are filling up rapidly (March is already full) so don't delay.
Congratulations to all our Clients who were at the Nationals. They all did well and all the hard work has paid off. We now look forward to 2012 for an even more successful year.
As well as being Olympic year, 2012 is going to be the year when we will be moving forward to achieve a lot of things which have been in the pipeline. WATCH THIS SPACE.

Hello Matt and Adam - from Sydney Australia (with a family history enquiry):
I see you have recently moved to Wyncoll's Farm. A distant relative of mine was born at Wyncoll's Farm, Elton in July 1836 but I do not know whether the house belonged to her grandfather, Captain David Dawson or her parents Captain Alexander Corrie and Elizabeth Corrie (Captain Dawson's daughter)? There is , of course, that the house was that of the local doctor or midwife.
I am writing to ask whether, in any records you have seen of the property, the names Dawson and/or Corrie have appeared? If so, I would appreciate any details that you could share to assist me to fill in this piece of my puzzle.
Any assistance will be much appreciated.
Thank you
Harry irwin
